Children's Ministry

We believe our children are a part of God's covenant family now. We treat them like they are part of the Church because they truly are! Kids are a wonderful gift from God and it is our desire to love them as our own, like one big family. We believe in teaching small ways to love God and share toys through words and crafts little ones understand. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them." As a church, we accept and love this responsibility, and aim to carefully lead them toward their Heavenly Father.

The aim of our children's ministry is to love children as Jesus did and teach them to trust in and depend on God through Biblical, Christ-centered teaching.

Sunday morning kids small group is a time where kids can bond in friendship and get Biblical teaching on in a smaller group setting. This group meets every Sunday at 9:45 am before the main worship service.

After sitting in on the first half of worship service, kids from pre-school to lower elementary are invited to Children's Church where they continue in a parallel learning and worship time that is Christ-centered and prepares them for "big church."

Our Nursery is available throughout all Sunday morning activities and is a safe, great place for your youngest ones to be cared for on an interactive, healthy level. Headed up by Ms. Gabrielle Samuels.

Young Adults Ministry

Our young adults ministry, "College Twenties" for short, is a group of college students and twenty-somethings being friends and growing in our faith together. We focus on studying God's Word weekly, and get together once a month for a fun event or outing to build deeper friendships. College Twenties has always been an environment

We meet on Thursday evenings each week either at Pine Ridge or in someone's home to study God's word and talk about things that matter to us. We pray together and for each other. And we spend time together building authentic relationships. You're invited!

This week:

Small groups are where we get connected to one another in more intimate environments where building authentic relationships happens. Groups usually range from around 10-20 people. We believe it's a crucial part of life in the Church to be closely connected to a group of people you can trust and lean on. We strive to disciple and be discipled by each other.

CARE Groups

Third Sunday of each month: These groups gather monthly in homes to help further their love and commitment to others. Often a meal is shared, and a time of prayer follows – but each C.A.R.E. group has their own, unique traditions.

There's a lot to be a part of if you're a woman looking for friends to share life with. We enjoy getting together to "Chat & Chew" just about anything! Sometimes there's a book study, other times a sewing class; and let's not forget the monthly First Sundays Women's Lunch that everybody's talking about. Here you will find women who desire to enjoy Christian fellowship; but more importantly, be a part of something eternally meaningful.

By serving God in their homes and even in simple, everyday interactions with strangers, their love for Christ shines. They reach the homeless through their "Friends of Jesus" program, and serve at Pine Ridge in many areas ranging from children's ministry to clerical work. If you are a young woman or even just a new Christian, and would like to be mentored in the faith, here's your chance. Many of our women would love the opportunity to help you grow spiritually, standing alongside you in that journey. See you at lunch!

Mens Ministry.jpg

We strive to serve the church family in a variety of ways-- caring for our little ones, taking charge at church work days, and caring for our widows. Pine Ridge is greatly served by the leadership of our men, young and old.

A little camping, a little grilling, and a lot of discipleship. Those who taste and contribute to this shared wealth of wisdom are more alive to follow Christ in word and deed.
