History

church

Pine Ridge Presbyterian PCA was started in 1983 as a church plant of Orangewood PCA. Pastor Bill Colclasure and 12 families started worship services in the Chapel of the Good Samaritan on Sand Lake Road, and in 1984 became incorporated. The church (then called Sand Lake Presbyterian) moved to the Dr. Phillips YMCA building. As the congregation grew, a more permanent and larger facility was sought and the decision to build a permanent home was undertaken. In 1990, the congregation moved to its permanent home in our current facility on Hiawassee Road.
